National Administrative Overseer for the Church of God of Prophecy - Eastern Canada, Bishop Woodroe Thompson, has been involved in ministry for more than 25 years.
A graduate of Tyndale Seminary in Toronto, with a Master of Divinity, his experience ranges from youth ministry to pastoral ministry. Bishop Thompson served 18 years as senior pastor of North Park Worship Centre in Brampton, Ontario, and hosted the CTS television program, “Nite Lite Live” for several years. In 2014, he received the inaugural “Men of Excellence” award from the Canada Glass Awards, which recognizes achievements in the Canadian Christian, Inspirational, Jazz, and Urban music market. Bishop Woodroe Thompson is Executive Producer and Host of Let’s Talk on YES TV Sundays at 11pm.
Married with two sons and three granddaughters, he is an avid reader, loves movies, and considers himself a table tennis enthusiast.
